Climate change may not have been an issue for Socrates and his contemporaries, but his advice still stands. We feel it is important to emphasise that saving our planet relies heavily on changing our habits- sustainability is the path to prosperity! TURTLE was once founded on this very premise, and so we are very pleased that Restauro Magazine chose this angle to feature us in their latest edition.
We work hard to make Turtle a sustainable brand, and continue to challenge what that means and how we can adapt, evolve, and innovate. The first generation of yellow Turtle crates were introduced over 30 years ago as a sustainable solution in an industry where single use was the norm. Those very same crates are still being used on a daily basis today, and continue to set the bar for the high standards we have for all other Turtle products.
This year’s goal is to achieve certified carbon neutral production of all our products. Packaging is an industry that has long been characterized by single use, and TURTLE’s goal is to galvanize the redefining of this industry by proving that high quality can be achieved with sustainable and reusable solutions. This motivates our every decision, and we hope to inspire other businesses to do the same. Many thanks to Restauro Magazine for contributing to this by spreading the word!
